Spring is officially wet and cold

Chuck here,
For those of you that have been reading you'll note that I've said who's writing this, that's because my wife Mary has decided to join me as a contributor to the blog. I suspect our writing style alone will clue the intrepid reader in as to who is writing, but who knows.
In September I mentioned a change of patience, i.e. a new to us boat.

Spring has arrived at my home, the boat will this weekend if the scheduling and weather hold up to the plan. Right now it looks like this

and we have to change that by
Taking off the cover
Bending on the main sail
Installing the bimini
Putting up the enclosure (it's still a tad chilly out)

Then doing all the de-winterization of engines, plumbing etc.. getting good checks on all systems, and finally getting underway.
She spent the winter at Herrington Harbor South and home is roughly 30 miles away as the boat travels. Here's a screen shot of the plotted trip, you can click on it and make it larger.

I'm fortunate in that I have lots of friends to help get her ready. Many hands make light work and all that.
